- First, pests have unwanted access to the inside of your house if the vent pipe is left open. STACK GUARD has hot dipped galvanized hardware mesh in the top to keep critter out while allowing the pipe to vent.
- Second, rodents will chew the boots on the pipes, causing unseen leaks which eventually results in rotting and molding. STACK GUARD is made of painted PVC that fully covers the boot to protect it from damge.
